Senior Civil Design Engineer​/Project Manager; Kansas

Kaw Valley Engineering has an immediate opening for a Senior Civil Design Engineer / Project Manager (Kansas City).

Location: This position is available in multiple locations and requires occasional travel.

• BS in Engineering from an accredited program
• Kansas P.E. license (ability to obtain license within 60 days)
• Consulting experience is preferred.
• Expertise in residential and commercial site development, and transportation is a strong plus.
• Experience in municipal engineering policy and procedures is a plus.
• Experience managing and navigating the completion of projects

• Manage multiple projects and interact with production staff, clients, and review agencies
• Develop and QAQC Plans for site development and public improvement projects
• Be involved in Civil Design, Utility Coordination, Permit Acquisition, and Client Invoicing
• Collaborate with KVE team, clients and project stakeholders including architects and engineers outside the firm
• Play an integral role in maintaining client satisfaction and developing our client base
• Serve as a Mentor to and provide guidance to less experienced staff
