The VDC P& will perform P& administration functions for the team on all projects, as well as coordinate with clients and sub‑consultants on P&. This person will work closely with CRB project discipline leads and the VDC Regional Manager on internal P& and content development initiatives.

• Function as a primary P& to the design and construction staff, communicating status, issues, remedies, and establishing design parameters based on project requirements
• Establish standard design and construction practices for P& in order to share the information across relevant project teams to help promote efficiency and consistency in project deliverables
• Develop project templates, maintain content, manage database creation, and perform project audits
• Implement P& company strategic innovation techniques on projects by integrating all phases of project delivery
• Work with project teams to prepare, execute, and finalize project deliverables (P&, specifications, lists, BOMs, etc.)
• Assist with project planning and resource coordination
• Manage the P& process for all project stakeholders
• Maintain a healthy P& (i.e. P& database, supporting project files)
• Promote the advancement of VDC/P&s, help develop/coordinate training strategies and mentor colleagues in all offices
• Work closely with regional and corporate leadership on P& and standardization
• Research and stay informed on VDC/P&‑related software and technologies
• Provide support to end users both in your region and other regions as needed (Helpdesk)

• Associates degree in Computer Aided Design, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent
• Minimum five years of experience in an A/E design firm setting or construction industry equivalency
• Advanced Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and the functions of AutoCAD platforms is required

• Experience with Revit is preferred
• Experience with 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM
  360 suite, Assemble) is preferred
• Experience with content development is preferred
• Experience with SQL and/or SQLite databases preferred
• programming skills are a plus
• Industry VDC certification (Autodesk Certified Professional, CM-BIM, etc.) is preferred
• Understanding of contractual delivery methods for design and construction projects
• Understanding of industry standard VDC documentation (BEP, BIMForum, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
