What You'll DoAs a Mechanical Engineer on the team, you'll have ownership over the design and delivery of HVAC and mechanical systems across complex building projects. From concept to construction administration, you'll work closely with architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders to develop smart, code-compliant, and energy-efficient solutions.
Key Duties:- Develop and refine HVAC designs, hydronic systems, and ductwork layouts
- Create construction documents for renovations, additions, and new builds
- Apply mechanical and energy codes to project documentation and calculations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants across multiple disciplines
- Review quality control feedback and implement drawing updates
- Assist in developing and maintaining project specifications
- Stay engaged with the latest trends and technologies in building systems
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering (ABET-accredited)
- At least 3 years of professional engineering experience
- Proficiency in HVAC systems design (including hydronic systems and ductwork)
- Experience in healthcare, education, or commercial construction projects
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- FE certification
- Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and Trane Trace
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
