Structural Project Engineer - Lead Projects -Owned

An established employee-owned engineering firm is seeking an experienced Structural Project Engineer to join its newly expanding Kansas City operation.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this individual will become a key member of the firm's long-term growth strategy and help deliver structural projects across industrial, water/wastewater, commercial, mission-critical, and data centre sectors.

This role is ideal for an engineer who is ready to take ownership of projects, mentor junior staff, and accelerate their path toward technical leadership.

• Perform structural analysis and design on complex projects
• Lead portions of project execution from design through construction
• Coordinate internally with multidisciplinary teams
• Mentor junior engineers and EITs
• Participate in client interactions and project meetings
• Conduct condition assessments and structural evaluations as required

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3-4+ years of structural engineering experience
• EIT certification required, P.E preferred or attainable within 1 year of starting
• Progressive experience in building or industrial structural design
• Experience with structural design software
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

• $95,000 - $105,000 Base + 15%
