Hourly: $18.55 - $26.90 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to handle every aspect of a mortgage loan after origination. This role handles customer service, escrow accounts, loss mitigation, taxes, insurance, modifications, accounting, investor accounting and payoffs.

Essential Functions

• Perform routine and complex tasks in the servicing of mortgage loans in one or more of the various servicing functions; includes administration, cashiering, new loans/acquisitions, special loans, escrow, investor accounting, customer service or default
• Process mortgage releases and subsequent documents to borrowers
• Perform customer service via telephone, email and chat
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the specific functional area and ability to understand the interrelationship of all mortgage servicing functions and the resulting impact
• Demonstrates self-initiative in problem identification or provides assistance as needed within specific functional area as well as the group
• Ability to work with other departments to meet time requirements
• Ability to consistently meet or exceed minimum departmental productivity standards
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 2+ years Real Estate loan experience required
• 2+ years of customer service via telephone, email and chat, experience preferred
• Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education

This compensation range is for the Mortgage Loan Servicing Representative I, II & Senior job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in determining most appropriate job level and making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
  
  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $18.55 to $26.90 per hour.
