Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly analytical Sr. Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our Finance team. This role blends traditional FP&A with modern data‑driven tools and automation, supporting quarterly budgeting, deepening business insights, and enhancing financial processes through advanced modeling and analytics.
Responsibilities- Maintain and augment our forecast of revenue and contribution margin.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key performance drivers, highlight areas of risk and opportunity, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Design, build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis and strategic decision‑making.
- Partner with business leaders to evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
- Leverage Python and/or SQL to automate reporting, streamline data pipelines, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Continuously improve financial planning processes, tools, and data sources to enhance scalability, efficiency and accuracy.
- Support ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
- 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or related analytical roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis; able to integrate data from multiple systems into driver‑based models.
- Intermediate SQL required;
Python proficiency for data analysis, automation, or forecasting preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for executives.
- Proven ability to lead projects independently, structure ambiguous problems, and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- A passion for problem‑solving, continuous improvement, and innovation in financial processes.
- Degree in STEM field plus MBA preferred.
- Experience with data tools such as Alteryx and Power BI a plus.
- Prior experience at a Big 4 or similar strategy & operations, transaction services, or valuations services practice.
