Our client is a middle-market, highly profitable construction services business serving residential and commercial customers through a network of locations supporting the majority of the US. The company is backed by a leading private equity sponsor and is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner strategically with the executive team as they drive acquisitive growth and prepare the business for an eventual exit.

We are seeking an operationally oriented CFO to strategically partner with the CEO as a key contributor and support the day-to-day operations from a financial perspective. The CFO will transform and professionalize the finance function and will have demonstrated success driving efficiencies and establishing best-in-class financial and KPI reporting practices. This position requires previous experience working in a private equity sponsored environment and familiarity with the nuances of working in a leveraged balance sheet environment while reporting to a board composed of a sophisticated investor group.

You will be a hands‑on leader involved in all growth initiatives and a player‑coach CFO with the finance and accounting team while providing support across the entire organization. You will have previous experience leading, scaling and professionalizing a multi‑location construction services organization utilizing percentage of completion accounting (POC) where you have implemented best practice processes and insightful KPI dashboards.
