Join the U.S. Secret Service as a Federal Police Officer (Uniformed Division) with a $50,000 Recruitment Incentive.

The base pay range is $75,134.00/yr - $/yr. Note that relocation to Washington, DC is required.

This role offers a $50,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements.

At the Secret Service, officers are courageous, intelligent, strong, and determined. As a Uniformed Division Officer, duties include:

• Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area.
• Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions.
• Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A.

Requirements for this role include:

• U.S. citizenship.
• A current valid U.S. driver's license.
• Being at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time of conditional offer of employment.
• Carrying and using a firearm, with mandatory firearm proficiency.
• Possessing uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
• Hearing loss not exceeding 25 decibels in either ear in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges.
• Submitting to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while occupying the position.
• Completing 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
• Registering with the Selective Service System or being exempt from having to do so, if applicable.

This is an entry-level, full-time position in law enforcement.
