Patient Accounts Representative

** Job Description
** Saint Luke’sin Kansas Cityis seeking a Patient Accounts Representative to join our team. You will perform a variety of functions related to managing the accounts receivable, following established processes and polices for billing and reimbursement.  
** Ideal candidates will be 1 year of Medicare experience 2 + years of commercial/medicaid experience.
**** Shift Details:
** Monday
- Friday
** Responsibilities:
*** Performs claim edits
* Verifies insurance coverage
* Follows up with payors on open accounts
* Performs denials and payment variances

Experience with facility claim submission for a hospital system is preferred.

Epic experience a plus.

We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate has strong computer and critical thinking skills and can multitask.
