** Job Description

* The Opportunity:

** This position will float between all 4 hospital locations at the Plaza, Overland Park, Lee's Summit and North Kansas City.
** Shift Details:
** This is a Monday through Friday dayshift position working 8-5PM, 24 hours per week. Position will require some weekend coverage.
** The Work:
*** This position is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation).
* Develops and oversees the implementation of nutrition interventions/prescriptions for patients with nutrition problems.
* Responsible for coordinating the plan of care/interventions and consulting with other members of the health care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* The RD demonstrates proficiency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance.

Long Term Care experience as an RD preferred.
