Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

The ideal candidate is a dynamic, self-motivated professional with at least two years of experience in a skilled nursing facility and strong communication and organizational skills.

Admissions Director Responsibilities
  • Obtain referral information from telephone and walk-in inquiries, including complete clinical and financial information required for admission committee approval
  • Collaborate with the business office to ensure financial verification is accurate and complete prior to admission
  • Secure family commitment to tour the facility on at least 80% of viable referrals and conduct facility tours to support admission decisions
  • Manage the admissions process, including explaining admission policies and completing all required documentation to ensure a smooth transition
  • Monitor and communicate pending referrals, admissions, and follow-up needs to facility personnel
  • Notify the Marketing Director of any referral source issues encountered during the referral process
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources
Admissions Director Qualifications
  • Two to three years of experience with the admissions process in a skilled nursing, subacute, rehabilitation, or other healthcare setting
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail, documentation, and follow-up
  • Professional telephone skills with the ability to manage referral calls efficiently and effectively
  • Computer experience using a marketing information system
  • Knowledge of the managed care industry preferred

  • Maintain a professional image through appropriate dress, behavior, and communication
  • Adhere to company standards for resolving consumer concerns
  • Ensure all patient and resident rights are protected
