Registered Nurse – Cardiology Clinic

Status:
Part-Time, Days (20 Hours Per Week)

Deliver expert professional nursing care within our Cardiology Clinic. This part-time day position balances autonomous clinical decision-making with collaborative teamwork to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in an outpatient setting.

• Clinical Care & Triage:
  Manage patient flow and perform telephone triage, providing clinical advice and recommendations based on established nursing standards.
• Acute Interventions:
  Coordinate emergent appointments, establish IV access, and administer medications as required by clinic needs.
• Patient Advocacy:
  Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for patient education, assessing learning needs for patients and families, and documenting all care and testing accurately.
• Care Coordination:
  Facilitate the entry of admission orders as directed by providers and oversee the management of expired clinical samples.
• Leadership & Delegation:
  Delegate tasks to clinical staff based on their competencies and Scope of Practice.
• Operational Support:
  Maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service; provide cross-coverage for Medical Assistant or LPN duties as necessary.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong assessment and interpretation skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a professional environment and superior patient experiences.

Applicable

Experience:

Less than 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Basic Life Support RQI - Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree - Nursing.
