As a Junior Database Developer at Element, you will work closely with senior database developers, data analysts, and the application development team. Your primary responsibilities include writing and maintaining stored procedures that drive our reporting platform, managing client data feeds, and supporting our end‑to‑end ETL pipeline.

• Manage ongoing processing of client data feeds into their respective managed data environments.
• Develop stored procedures that conform to output and performance requirements for real‑time delivery of data for reports, analytics, and operational needs.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot across the entire Element data stack.
• Participate in code reviews and standards development.
• Become a subject‑matter expert on client databases and business rules related to inbound data feeds and outbound reports.
• Show proficiency in database development, adhere to timelines, follow best practices, document thoroughly, and demonstrate a willingness to learn on the job.
• Support the Operational team with day‑to‑day tasks.

• 1–3 years of extensive Microsoft TSQL development experience or recent completion of a relevant course of study with demonstrable knowledge in a practical assessment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft TSQL technical features.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of critical problem solving.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar languages.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a good sense of humor.
