Summary of
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, primary functions include end user support, conference room equipment support, and IT Walk-Up general technical support.
- This individual must be capable of delivering effective support to end users for all desktop and workstation-related needs. The role requires a basic troubleshooting understanding of laptop and desktop endpoints, printing devices, smart phones, and tablet devices.
- This job is to be performed with limited supervision and has no responsibility or authority for the direction of others.
Education and Experience Requirements
:
- Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office and Office 365 is required.
- Candidate must be familiar with maintaining laptop and PC hardware, laser printer hardware, iOS, and Android.
- Must have 1-3 years of experience with in-person support within IT.
- Prior experience in a technical support role OR Industry-recognized certifications / education preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Required:
- Must be able to clearly communicate technical issues to end users.
- Must have sound knowledge of Active Directory, Entra , and Intune solutions
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, including maintaining a clean and orderly workspace while effectively managing a virtual queue of tasks and requests.
- Should be readily available to assist end users either through Chat, Email, Phone, and in person.
- Should have a good understanding of prioritizing incidents and ticketing systems.
- Working knowledge of standard concepts, best practices and procedures related to set up/configuration of desktop hardware and current operating system.
- Working knowledge of desktop operating system.
- Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical.
- Finishes tasks accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Makes sound decisions with general guidance.
- Travel will be required; company vehicle will be provided.
