Your Responsibilities

• Solutioning, architecture, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure & Databricks platform.
• Working with data services and tools for efficient data processing, storage, and analysis.
• Collaborating with Business and Data/Analytics/Digital stakeholders to understand business goals and product needs.
• Developing and maintaining scalable Azure/Databricks data architecture aligned with business strategy.
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and streams.
• Implementing data integration solutions, including ETL processes.
• Managing data storage solutions like data warehouses and lakes using Azure services.
• Utilizing Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and advanced analytics tools for data processing and analysis.
• Ensuring data security and compliance with regulations.
• Staying updated with Azure technologies and industry trends.
• Providing technical guidance and leadership.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
• Optimizing performance of data solutions and products.
• Training and mentoring teams on best practices in data engineering, ML, and AI.
• Assisting in defining and executing the organization's data strategy.
• Automating Azure deployments using Power Shell and Azure Dev Ops.
• Leading solution design efforts and performance improvements.
• Promoting best practices for Azure resource optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience with Big Data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Delta Lake.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred:
  Experience with other cloud platforms, advanced analytics, AI tools, data governance, Dev Ops, and relevant certifications.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is a plus.
