JOB SUMMARY

Plan, initiate and manage IT projects utilizing H&R Block PM Framework including documentation and data verification controls. Execute and enforce consistent processes for project development, monitor and oversee the project budget, and develop and maintain project plans, including resource assignments, risks and issues. Build AI strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring scalability and innovation in AI-driven solutions. Perform resource management of team members including staffing, daily tasks and performance.

Guide engineering teams, mentor talent, and align skills with project needs for optimal execution. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle to ensure product quality. Lead end-to-end AI project cycles, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and delivery. Develop status reports and update senior management with progress as necessary. Engage with senior leadership, business teams, and technical stakeholders to drive AI adoption and impact.

Lead and collaborate with AI teams across multiple geographical locations to ensure seamless execution and alignment.

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.

Ten years of IT project management experience to include:

• Observability, Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitor.
• Software development using Agile methodologies.
• Managing end-to-end project cycles, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements gathering, and delivery.
• Azure Dev Ops, Power Automate, and Microsoft Viva Insights.
• Microsoft stack - .NET, REST APIs, and Azure cloud-based services.
• Leading global teams.
• Budget management - Power BI, Azure Cost Management + Billing and Azure Pricing Calculator.
• Developing comprehensive delivery plans including test plans.
• Developing status reports.

One year of which must include generative AI experience, specifically:

• Azure AI and Cognitive Services.
• Building generative AI-driven enterprise applications in Azure OpenAI.
• AI strategy and roadmap.
• Responsible AI dashboard, HAX toolkit, and model monitoring tools.
• Azure AI Foundry, Prompt Flow, and Prompt Playground.
• Semantic search with Azure AI Search.
• AI Safety testing.
