Senior IT Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a highly experienced IT Project Manager that is skilled in SAFe/Scaled Agile practices to work in office 3 days a week for a client in the Kansas City area. This person should be able to come in and lay the groundwork for product thinking, dive deep with facilitating cross functional discussion between engineers and plant operation leaders, and deliver structured project outcomes.

The main responsibility of this person is to help create strategy to increase capacity in manufacturing and help lay out the road map that will later impact efficiency. This person will join a team of 5 members made up of 3 other PM's and 2 BA's. There are ongoing projects that will be transitioned to them once getting started and then additional new projects will be passed along throughout the duration of the contract.

The overall goal is to be able to come in, lead projects to make manufacturing more efficient. This person will be working on at least 4-6 projects at a time and a typical project can last anywhere from 12-16 weeks. The client does phase roll outs, weekly team meetings, and biweekly status updates.

• 7+ years of experience as an IT project manager
• Experience with SAFe/Scaled Agile practices and able to translate them to delivery
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders and build alignment across business and IT operations
• Knowledge of Jira and Azure Dev Ops
• Has worked in a manufacturing environment or has vendor management experience
