JOB TITLE: Acquisitions & Integrations IT Analyst

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE: M-F 37.5 hrs./week

REPORTS TO: Acquisitions & Integrations IT Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, this role provides operational support to ensure successful technology onboarding for new users, particularly during mergers and acquisitions. The position is responsible for preparing and validating equipment prior to deployment, coordinating logistics with internal teams, and delivering a consistent, customer-focused onboarding experience. The role requires clear communication with project teams and management, effective prioritization of tasks to meet project timelines, and adherence to established travel and organizational policies when onsite support is required.

The position ensures that all integration and M&A-related tasks are completed accurately and verified to support a seamless transition into Company systems and processes.

Compensation: At Spencer Fane, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to location, skillset, experience, training, licenses, certifications and other business or organizational needs. Compensation will be determined based on the above factors along with the requirements of the position. We expect the starting hourly rate to be between $32.85 and $49.25.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare, configure, image, and validate laptops and related hardware to ensure all required applications, security settings, and user profiles are properly installed prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate equipment ordering, shipping, and tracking with internal teams and vendors, and verify successful delivery to designated site locations ahead of onboarding schedules.
  • Serve as a communication point for project teams, providing status updates, identifying potential risks or delays, and escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Organize and prioritize daily tasks, monitor project timelines, and adjust workload as needed to meet established deadlines for onboarding and M&A integration activities.
  • Provide onboarding support to new users by assisting with initial system access, troubleshooting early-use issues, and ensuring alignment with training team messaging for a consistent user experience.
  • Perform all assigned M&A onboarding tasks—including account setup, equipment readiness verification, system access validation, and first-day support—to ensure accurate and timely integration into Company systems.
  • Document completion of tasks, track outstanding items, and maintain accurate records to support auditability and continuous improvement of integration processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, HR, and other operational teams to ensure cross-functional readiness and identify opportunities for improving the onboarding workflow.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent, supported by any combination of hands‑on IT support experience, technical training, certifications, or practical troubleshooting skills that demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the essential functions of a desktop support role.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS &

COMPETENCIES:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of hands‑on experience in end‑user desktop support. A+ certification preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including remote desktop support and configuration of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications. Skilled in diagnosing complex technical problems, performing hardware configuration, and supporting account and mailbox functions within Active Directory and Exchange.
  • Communication &

    Collaboration:

    Effectively communicates technical information to users and team members, delivers high‑quality customer service, and collaborates well within a team environment. Maintains strong attention to detail and ensures issues are fully resolved through consistent follow‑through.
