• Handle a diverse caseload under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Conduct thorough factual investigations of actual and potential claims
• Perform comprehensive legal research and draft well-reasoned and well-articulated legal memorandums, motions, and briefs
• Prepare high-quality pleadings, motions, and discovery materials, demonstrating extreme attention to detail, high quality of prose, and meaningful contribution toward strategic goals
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts
• Represent clients in court proceedings and argue effectively before judges
• Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation and evidence organization
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to Missouri Bar (additional Kansas Bar admission soon after hiring).
• 2–4+ years of experience practicing law following bar admission (prior civil litigation experience is a plus).
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Strategic and analytical thinking with attention to detail and the 'big picture'.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to travel, albeit infrequently.
