Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for a dedicated attorney to join our plaintiff-only firm specializing in wrongful death and class injury cases. Our firm is committed to advocating for victims and making a meaningful impact, offering a flexible and collaborative work environment. This role involves managing a diverse caseload with autonomy while contributing to the firm's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

- Handle and litigate wrongful death and class injury cases independently, ensuring thorough and effective client representation.

- Perform discovery, draft motions, and prepare for trial while maintaining the highest standards of legal practice.

- Collaborate with support staff and firm leadership to ensure progress and quality across all cases.

- Build strong relationships with clients, providing empathetic and detail-oriented advocacy.

- Participate in firm marketing initiatives, including networking and community engagement activities.

- Manage a caseload of 40+ files, ensuring timely and successful case outcomes.

- Represent clients in court proceedings across relevant jurisdictions.

- Maintain organized case documentation and communication for seamless workflow. Requirements - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Licensed to practice law in Missouri or surrounding states, with local residency preferred.

- At least 3 years of experience in plaintiff-side litigation, ideally involving wrongful death or personal injury cases.

- Proven ability to manage cases independently, from initial filing to resolution.

- Strong skills in drafting motions, conducting discovery, and preparing for trial.

- Genuine passion for advocating for victims and upholding justice.

- Self-motivated and organized, thriving in a flexible and autonomous work environment.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
