As a Manager in Supply Chain Ops, you will lead planning, materials and warehouse teams to ensure material availability, inventory accuracy and efficient flow that supports production and customer schedules.
What you’ll do:- Own site S&OP process, translating demand forecasts into material and capacity plans.
- Optimize inventory levels through MRP parameter maintenance and ABC cycle counting.
- Coordinate cross‑functional efforts to resolve material shortages and expedite critical parts with accountability, managing both on-site materials and outside vendor services.
- Implement Lean material‑flow initiatives such as kanban, point‑of‑use storage and visual management.
- Manage hiring, performance and development of planners, buyers and warehouse staff.
- Track KPIs (OTD, inventory turns, cycle count accuracy) and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Work Directly with suppliers and services to maximize contractual obligations and pricing affordability.
- Ensure on-site Supply Chain Operation policy and strategy align with company core standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, or related Business field.
- 5+ years in supply chain or materials management with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and S&OP processes.
- Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma in material flow.
- Excellent leadership and problem‑solving skills.
- Government, Military and Commercial contract experience
