Electrical Construction Project Manager

Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical project management with direct oversight of projects exceeding $5 million.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and codes.
  • Expertise in risk management, change order negotiation, and material procurement.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a team‑first mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage electrical construction projects from pre‑construction through close‑out, each valued at $5 million or more.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Coordinate and order all necessary materials, ensuring just‑in‑time delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Proactively handle change orders—negotiating, documenting, and executing in accordance with project goals and contracts.
  • Monitor job progress, enforce safety protocols, and maintain adherence to project specs and local codes.
  • Lead project meetings, generate reports, and provide clear communication to stakeholders at all levels.
