Preconstruction Manager - Commercial Construction

Because of their continued growth, a General Contractor in your area seeks a Preconstruction Manager to join their team. • Lead and manage safely, profitably, and timely assigned projects.
• Manage bids in a manner consistent with standards of quality and integrity; participate in marketing, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiation phases of the assigned projects.
• Work on several potential projects valued between $10–$250M.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and expertise by defining, implementing, and monitoring department estimating resources, guidelines, best practices, and procedures.
• Coordinate with a team and senior management to grow the business in line with the firm’s strategic direction.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of submissions.
• Establish team assignments and identify estimating review dates.
• Oversee and support several projects from an operational, financial, and resource standpoint.

• Degree educated in the appropriate discipline is highly preferred.
• Experienced in negotiating bids on new-build projects.
• Strong portfolio of previous work in the relevant sectors.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, and sequencing.
