BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with :
- Advanced experience with PLC (e.g., industrial maintenance, computer control systems, etc.).
- PLC programming Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, etc.
- Electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting)
- Schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays).
- Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns , etc.)
- HMI Programming.
- Pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs).
- Electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.).
- Gearing and gear boxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining parts).
- Reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics).
- Analog control, Transducers/4-20ma-0-10vdc applications.
- Ability to use multi-meters.
- Knowledge of relays, solid state relays, etc..
- Knowledge in electrical distribution systems, 480
VAC. - Understand solenoid valve concepts, center port, on/off etc.
- Knowledge of communications protocols, RS485, RS232, ethernet, etc.
- Understand Safety interface devices, Relays, Light curtains, etc.
- Electrical Motor Theory & Control VFD’s, overloads protection, etc.
- Microsoft software platforms, Excel, Word, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery without electrical drawings.
- Kinematics (e.g., line speed/sprocket size ratios, etc.).
- Pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting).
- Must be able & willing to perform tasks other than electrical/controls
- Own tool box and tools is helpful but not required.
- AutoCAD Software
- Mechanical aptitude, gearbox’s, chain & sprocket, etc.
- 5 plus years in Automation field.
- Experience with extrusion blow molding, one-step molding, reheat & blow (or blow molding of any sort) or injection molding processes and equipment is helpful but not required.
- Experience with plastic extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding to level of making mold changes and set-ups is helpful
