About The Role
You will operate and set up high‑speed machinery with robotic components to form or cut steel to precise dimensions and specifications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment, enjoys hands‑on mechanical work, and maintains safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Shift: 7 PM – 5:30 AM
Pay: $20 to $23 per hour plus weekly production incentive bonus
- Operate high‑speed forming and cutting equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals.
- Set up and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal machine performance and accuracy.
- Inspect materials before, during, and after production to maintain quality standards.
- Record and report production data, quality issues, and scrap material accurately.
- Maintain tooling, measuring devices, and other production tools.
- Diagnose equipment and quality issues promptly to minimize downtime and scrap.
- Assist maintenance teams with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs focused on productivity and quality.
- Perform housekeeping duties to sustain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret production records, logs, and work instructions.
- Proficient in basic math including addition, subtraction, decimals, and fractions.
- Experienced with measuring devices such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
- Skilled in operating forklifts, cranes, and other production equipment.
- Detail‑oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently.
- Demonstrates consistent, on‑site attendance and adherence to posted schedules.
- Promotes and practices safe work habits in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Constant movement and use of limbs, requiring good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Lift up to 60 lbs. and perform tasks such as climbing, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
- Able to stand for 10–12 hours per shift.
- Comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment.
