As a Shipper at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient material handling, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and enjoys working with warehouse equipment.
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay: $19.00 per hour plus Production Incentive
What You’ll Do- Champion and enforce safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
- Process and fulfill orders from customers and internal teams.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
- Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, reporting any damages.
- Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory.
- Standardize and optimize shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular, full-time onsite attendance.
- Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Technical
Skills:
Basic math skills for accurate order processing; ability to safely operate warehouse equipment. - Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Work environment includes a loud manufacturing/industrial setting.
