Are you an experienced technician who takes pride in precision work and problem‑solving? We’re looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician (Level
2) to join our skilled team. In this role, you’ll put your technical expertise to work maintaining and repairing complex injection molds that keep our production running at its best.
- Diagnose and repair worn or damaged mold components
- Disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble molds with attention to detail
- Perform mold insert changes directly in the press
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, indicators, and gauges
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and mold drawings
- Track mold run times, schedule preventive maintenance, and document repairs using PM software
- Safely handle tools, equipment, and molds while following all safety rules and company procedures
- Provide guidance and direction to others in mold assembly and disassembly
- Collaborate with Mold Makers and team members to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with plastic injection molds
- Skilled in operating manual machine tools (mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc.)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability
- Basic computer and shop math skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, safety‑conscious, and detail‑oriented
- Must have or be able to obtain forklift certification
- Possess personal hand tools and a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and consistent attendance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
