This position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly disassemble, assemble, and test components in the Radiator Shop. Additionally, this position may be responsible for operation of equipment including magnetic drill, power washer, and cranes.
This is a 2nd shift position with standard hours Monday-Thursday 4pm-2:30am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Follow detailed disassembly and assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Disassembles, assembles, and test components by utilizing hand and power tools.
- Cleans and buffs components.
- Wash components with a power washer.
- Blowout parts to remove dirt and debris.
- May require operation of a crane, or magnetic drill.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
- Make sure that schedules are running exactly as they are listed.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Turn off equipment when not in use.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge and understanding of the basic use of specialized equipment & hand tools.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform the same task repeatedly.
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is 21.50/hr.
