Welder

Overview

Enterprise Precast Concrete is the nation’s premier provider of high quality architectural precast components for decades. We provide products from architectural panels and custom architectural fabrication to site furnishings and design/build consultation. We are currently hiring for a steel cutter/welder to join our steel shop production area operating welding equipment to include: MIG, cutting torches, grinders and de-burring equipment. This is on a project basis but could likely turn into a permanent position.

• Operation of MIG welding machine
• Daily Operation
• Responsible for coordinating fabrication layouts
• Must have blueprint reading experience and able to read a tape measure
• Math abilities in include being able to add and subtract proficiently
• Able to follow detailed instruction

Note: The responsibilities above are the core tasks expected in this role and may be complemented by additional duties as needed.

• High school diploma or GED w/ 1-2 years of related welding experience is required
• Welding Certification Required
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and technical specifications
• Ability to read and understand piece tickets
