Institutional Giving Manager, Tipping Point Community Organization Overview

Tipping Point finds, funds, and strengthens the most promising poverty‑fighting solutions so one day everyone in the Bay Area can prosper. Since 2005, Tipping Point has invested over $440 million in community interventions, policy change, and new ideas. Last year, our grantees provided life‑changing services in housing, early childhood, education, and employment to nearly 90,000 of our neighbors across the Bay Area.

The Institutional Giving Manager is part of a dynamic development department charged with raising funds to support Tipping Point’s vision for impact. The Institutional Giving Manager assists with strategic leadership and takes tactical ownership over all corporate and foundation funding sources. They are responsible for managing the corporate and foundation donor portfolio and writing high‑quality and compelling correspondence, proposals, and grant reports for all institutional funders.

The Institutional Giving Manager is a strategic thinker with exceptional writing and relationship management skills, strong project management experience, attention to detail and the capacity to translate program initiatives and impact into targeted and compelling funding requests. They serve as an ambassador of Tipping Point, representing the organization to donors, partners, grantees, and others.
