OverviewKanbe's Markets is a quickly-growing 501(c)3 fighting food insecurity and mitigating large-scale food waste by rescuing perfectly good food that would be headed to the landfill, and redirecting it into low-access communities through partnerships with over 100+ local small food retailers and 52+ community organizations. In just nine years, Kanbe's has redirected $4.4 million dollars worth of food that would otherwise be wasted, reinvested over $260,000 back into the local community through its unique revenue‑sharing model, today serving approximately 250,000 Kansas Citians with fresh food access.
Corporate partnership plays a unique and vital role in the expansion of Kanbe's mission, operating at the intersection between grants, sponsorship, individual fundraising objectives, and volunteerism.
