This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kansas City, MO. The Executive Director/President will be responsible for overseeing organizational strategy, fundraising initiatives, program development, and community partnerships. Key responsibilities include leading daily operations, building and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, managing the nonprofit’s budget, and advocating for its mission and values. The individual will serve as the public face of the organization, fostering collaboration with community members, donors, and other agencies to achieve the organization’s goals.
Qualifications- Leadership and Management:
Proven ability to lead teams, oversee operations, and report to a Board of Directors. - Strategic Planning and Organizational Development:
Expertise in formulating and implementing strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals. - Fundraising and Financial Acumen:
Experience in developing and executing fundraising strategies, along with budget management and financial planning. - Community Building and Stakeholder Engagement:
Strong skills in building partnerships, advocacy, and creating relationships with community members and key stakeholders. - Nonprofit
Experience:
Background in working in or leading nonprofit organizations, including knowledge of 501(c)(3) regulations and donor relations. - Outstanding Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Education:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field preferred. - Knowledge of community development and workforce empowerment is a strong advantage.
