Float pool nurses support various units within the hospital, moving from assignment to assignment. They demonstrate high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

• Attend and perform bedside care on assigned units.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care and patient education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking skills to respond to changes in patient status.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in electronic health record.

• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
