* SUMMARY:

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, GI techs, and CNAs, working seamlessly with anesthesia and GI services to deliver exceptional care. You'll play a vital role in ensuring top-tier care for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Assisting with advanced GI procedures such as EGD, colonoscopies, ERCP, EUS, manometry, Fibro Scan, Pill Cam, Bravo, and HALO. Additionally, you'll provide pre-operative and post-operative recovery care, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and comfort. Rotating through all areas of GI will offer you a diverse and stimulating work environment.

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the department director/supervisors/charge nurse, provides pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

EXPERIENCE:

One year medical/surgical experience required; critical care, PACU, or GI endoscopy experience strongly preferred. SPECIAL

SKILLS:

Endoscopy, PACU, phlebotomy, and airway management preferred. OTHER:
Basic computer skills. LICENSE/CERT:

Required:

RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) Preferred: CGRN (Certified Gastroenterology RN)
