Exciting opportunity for a Renal Transplant Coordinator at our Plaza location!
Part - Time, days position! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; 8 hour shifts. 24 hrs per week. Some on call required after orientation period.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of RN experience and previous transplant experience! MO and KS RN licenses (or multi-state) required!

The Work:- The renal transplant coordinator serves as a member of the transplant team, collaborating with transplant physician specialists, surgeons and APPs for inpatient and outpatient, pre or post‑transplant patient care.
- Makes recommendations for policy and protocol changes based upon literature review.
- Takes call for donor organs and coordinates the processes for successful transplantations.
- Coordinates multidisciplinary evaluation and updates of candidates by incorporating current transplant standards of care.
- Actively participates in the patient selection committee and makes recommendations to the team for candidacy.
- Responsible for wait‑list management of listed patients.
- Must be organized, able to multi‑task and handle multiple patients in coordination with team members, providers, patients and patients’ families.
- Previous transplant experience as an RN strongly preferred.
- 2 years plus of RN experience preferred.

- Basic Life Support RQI – Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI), Registered Nurse (KS) Multi‑State — National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
- Registered Nurse (MO) Multi‑State — National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS).
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
