Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position with required travel experience and active MO or compact RN license.

• Works in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a children's hospital
• Provides care for critically ill pediatric patients
• Night shift with three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Cerner EMR is used in the unit
• Level I Trauma Center and Level IV NICU environment
• Scrub attire may be any kid-friendly color or pattern
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• The campus is a nicotine-free environment and testing for nicotine is conducted
• Free parking is available with a permit
• No restrictions for local candidates; local candidates are accepted at the same rate

• Active MO or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all must be active)
• At least one year of recent Pediatric ICU experience
• Two supervisory references completed within the last 12 months required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
