Job DescriptionAs an APRN, you'll deliver expert, compassionate care to individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Working closely with physicians and a collaborative care team, you'll assess patients, diagnose conditions, create treatment plans, and provide both physical and psychiatric care. This role also includes occasional on-call duties and coverage beyond your primary area when needed.
You'll bring advanced skills in mental health, health promotion, patient education, and medical management—making a meaningful impact every day.
Qualifications & Skills- Master's in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program
- Active RN license in Missouri and Nurse Practitioner certification
- Specialty certification (as required by Missouri Board of Nursing)
- Active Collaborative Practice Agreement
- Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 3-5 years of clinical experience (preferably in mental health or primary care)
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills
- Leadership ability and team-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills across diverse populations
- Commitment to working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness
- Ability to manage challenging patient behavior with empathy and professionalism
