Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

• Holiday obligations required

• On-call responsibilities: 11-12 shifts monthly including approximately every 3rd weekend

• 13-week assignment duration with 24-hour orientation

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• Missouri RN license or Compact license required

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• Cerner charting system experience required

• Float to competent units within facility as needed (unlikely but possible)

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations

• Perform cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, robotic surgery, and TAVR

• Operate specialized equipment including Da Vinci surgical systems, electrosurgical units, and IABP

• Handle administration of blood products, cardiac monitoring, and conscious sedation monitoring

• Complete pre-start Health Stream modules and maintain timely completion of assigned modules throughout assignment

• Must regularly check email for new module assignments and meet all deadlines
