Job Description
As a Registered Nurse on our Renal Transplant Unit, you will provide care to chronically ill patients recovering from kidney transplant procedures and other complex conditions and treatment plans. This is a fast‑paced, high‑acuity unit that is growing due to continued success of our Kidney Transplant Services, which continues to increase our number of kidney transplants each year.
ShiftFull‑time, day shift (12‑hour shifts) with weekend duty as required.
Responsibilities- Accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
- Perform patient care, delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
- Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consult with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
• 1 year of experience
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Registered Nurse (MO) – National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
• Associate Degree in Nursing
