** Job Description**### Saint Luke's Hospice House is seeking a full-time Hospice Nurse. At Saint Luke’s Hospice House, you will provide end of life care and symptoms management to patients.### ###
** Job Description*** ### Part-time, 2 12-hour shifts per week, day shift, rotating days and weekends (3 weekend shifts in a 6-week period required)* ### Provides direct nursing care to patients with terminal illness.* ### Management and coordination of care to include both the patient and family.* ### Completes initial assessment of physical, emotional, and spiritual status.* ### Aggressive pain and symptom management, including frequent medication administration and adjustments.

Management of IV infusions and titration of drips.* ### Provides education and support related to end of life and imminent death.* ### Open, sensitive, and non-judgmental presence accepting of different beliefs, cultures, and values.* ### Uses electronic documentation to describe symptoms, interventions, physical assessment, education and support provided* ### MO and KS RN license required, Associate's in Nursing* ### The RN will work in the Hospice house and is accountable for utilizing the nursing process.###

Experience:

Less than 1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various Associate Degree#
