Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is currently seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join our team at Saint Luke’s Hospital Liver Biliary & Pancreatic Center. This clinic supports Hepatology, HPB surgery and GI specialties.
As an RN on this team, you will be responsible for working to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
The ShiftThis is a Monday through Friday 8 hour day shift position. Flexible start and end times available.
The Work- Collects information from patient callers to assess their condition
- Schedules emergent need patient appointments
- Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations over the phone
- Consults physicians about patient care needs
- Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice
- Subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing
- Enters admission orders as directed by provider
Applicable
Experience:
3-5 years
- Basic Life Support
- American Heart Association or Red Cross - Registered Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Associate Degree
- Nursing
