Travel RN - Pediatrics

American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a pediatric Crisis Center position requiring BLS and PALS certification and dual MO/KS licensure.

• Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required at time of consideration
• Kansas RN license also required, though candidates may start with a pending KS license if documentation of application is provided
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), AHA certifications only (RQI not accepted)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Previous pediatric experience preferred
• Must pass a medication/dosage test with 100% accuracy within the first week (up to three attempts allowed)

• Work in the Behavioral Health Crisis Center unit of a pediatric hospital
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Floating required between this facility and a sister hospital located approximately 12 miles away
• Smoke-free and nicotine-free campus
• Provide psychiatric nursing care within a pediatric behavioral health crisis setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
