Yard Technician

Overview

Vander Haag's offers an enormous selection of used and rebuilt parts for our customers throughout the entire United States, and at the heart of this process is our Yard Parts Technician!

This job primarily works outdoors in our salvage yard retrieving parts ordered by our customers. This position regularly uses hand tools, torch, and operates heavy equipment. This job performs a variety of tasks each day including:

• Collecting scrap material and pulling parts
• Performing part inspection and identification
• Relocating dismantled and non-dismantled units within the salvage yard
• Scrapping aged trucks from the salvage yard
• Maintaining yard cleanliness and organization
• Assisting customers with loading/unloading

This position does work outdoors on a regular basis, primarily independently.

Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!

This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Pay is dependent on experience and can range from $17.00 - $22.00, dependent upon qualifications & experience.
