Ryan Lawn & Tree, one of the top lawn and landscape companies in the US, is expanding its professional arborist group and is looking for skilled Tree Pruners to join our team.

Kansas City, KS

Starting at $45,000+ per year, with opportunities for growth and bonuses.

• Assist in completing pruning work on client properties—including tree pruning, tree removal, shrub pruning, mulch installation, and stump grinding.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Operate small engine equipment such as chainsaws, shears, and string trimmers.
• Communicate with clients regarding the process and expectations of services needed and performed.

• Forestry or related field background is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Good physical ability and respect for safety and heights.
• Team player with the ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Capability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull objects while walking 3 miles a day or more.
• Ability to climb and work aloft.
• Ability to obtain DOT certification.
• Valid driver’s license required.
