We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety initiatives for traveling teams responsible for assembling, placing, and setting up data towers at new data center locations. This role will focus on developing site-specific safety plans, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture throughout each project.

Lead health and safety initiatives for new data center start-up projects

Play a key role in establishing safe work practices across multiple locations

Work closely with Operations, customer safety teams, and site leadership

Develop safety programs, conduct inspections, and drive accident prevention initiatives

Help build a strong safety-first culture for traveling operational teams

Gain hands-on experience supporting new site launches and project-based operations

Travel to new locations and lead safety activities as projects progress

Lead health and safety activities for traveling teams supporting new data center start-up projects

Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans, procedures, and risk assessments aligned with company policies and customer requirements

Conduct routine safety inspections, workplace audits, and hazard assessments to identify and address potential risks

Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and established customer safety standards

Oversee safe work practices related to material handling, equipment movement, assembly activities, and equipment placement

Provide safety orientations, training, and ongoing guidance to employees, contractors, and other onsite personnel

Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions

Maintain accurate safety documentation, inspection reports, incident records, and compliance-related materials

Partner with Operations leadership and customer safety teams to identify hazards, resolve safety concerns, and support safe project execution

Monitor safety performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements to reduce workplace injuries and operational risks

Ensure employees follow proper safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with established work practices

Support internal and external safety audits, address findings, and monitor corrective action completion

Develop and deliver safety training programs focused on hazard awareness, accident prevention, and safe equipment operation

Communicate safety concerns, incident trends, and corrective action progress to site leadership and appropriate stakeholders

Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen workplace safety practices and employee engagement

Travel to subsequent data center locations to establish and oversee health and safety activities as each new project begins
