Part Time Leasing Agent

Our company is in need of a leasing agent to schedule and meet with prospective tenants, and show them properties they have inquired about. We are looking for someone with consistent showing availability evenings and weekends. Our company owns a portfolio of mid to high end residential rental units in the KC Metro area.

The ideal person is friendly and organized with experience in leasing, sales, or real estate. We have an office in midtown that can be used. Most work is done with showings off-site, some training will be on-site.

Will pay an hourly rate plus bonuses of $150 per lease.

Long term there could be an opportunity to grow within the company at a full time position with benefits.

Leasing Agent Responsibilities and Duties

• Respond to phone calls and emails to provide unit/property/lease information and schedule appointments
• Meet with prospective tenants at properties and show the units
• Follow up with prospective tenants
• Collect all information for applications and complete the screening process
• Create and send out new leases

Leasing Agent Qualifications and Skills

• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Excellent and prompt communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multitask
• Experience in leasing or property management is preferred
• High school diploma/GED required
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
