McFadden's Sports Saloon is an Irish sports bar offering classic pub food and tremendous sports viewing in a comfortable tavern setting, serving lunch, dinner and a dynamic nightlife. The restaurant and bar are equipped with state of the art technology including digital surround sound and high definition plasma TVs, making it the perfect venue to watch sports and hang out with friends.

• Answers the phones and takes messages/reservations.
• Maintain an accurate wait list when necessary.
• Welcomes guests on arrival and bids them goodbye to create a positive experience.
• Greet guests in a friendly and upbeat manner and communicate effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Communicate problems to management immediately.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to provide fast and courteous service.
• Occasional bussing of tables to expedite seating of waiting guests.
• Anticipate needs of scheduled special parties.

• At least one year of experience with customer service and/or hosting.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages preferred.
• Strong communication skills with guests, employees and third parties; ability to reflect well on the venue and brand.
• Reading and writing abilities frequently utilized for reservations and table assignments.
• Must be able to read, review and understand seating charts.
• Basic mathematical skills used frequently.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Handling objects (including food and utensils) and operating phones.
• Standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Must be able to stay at a fixed location at the entrance or exit for long periods and move safely throughout the venue.
