This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. As a Pastry Chef at Loch Lloyd Country Club, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in alignment with the Club's exemplary dining standards. Your daily tasks will include menu planning, executing recipes, supervising the pastry kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences for members and events.
You will play a key role in upholding the Club's reputation for excellent cuisine and service.
- Professional knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert artistry
- Strong skills in menu planning, recipe development, and creative presentation
- Supervisory experience and ability to lead and guide pastry kitchen staff effectively
- Experience with food safety protocols and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Formal training in culinary arts, pastry, or related field, with professional certifications preferred
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role in a high-end dining or hospitality setting
