Overview
Responsible for the overall operations of the Brew Brothers. This venue is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and hours may vary. Days off will likely occur during weekdays, Tues-Thurs. Starting salary will be based on experience but will likely fall between $65,000.00-$75,000.00
Job Description:- Ensures the service at Winning Streaks is distinguishable from competitors in the area.
- Tracks daily covers and other monetary transactions; reports results to Manager.
- Actively promotes Winning Streaks in local community to effectively increase covers.
- Administers department policies and procedures, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food and beverage service and inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Supervises staff on shift and ensures proper staffing levels in order to provide high standards of service with minimum labor hours.
- Ensures that all beverage products served meet the established standards.
- Follow trends with beverage products (beer, liquor, and wine) to react quickly in introducing new products while working within our National Beverage Program.
- Ensures that Winning Streaks is the premium outlet in the community to watch sporting events.
- Ensure that our TV packages and TV offerings are always up to date.
- Ensures that available facilities are adequate for performance of duties by assigned personnel.
- Maintains and instructs assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures, and follows up to ensure that hazards are eliminated.
- Performs assigned input work in compiling annual budgets, enters daily sales, orders and maintains restaurant inventory.
- Establishes and administers training programs within the assigned restaurant.
- Counsels, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties.
- Direct the development and administration of the controls for all phases of the restaurant in an economical and profitable manner while maintaining established standards.
- Maintains and instructs assigned personnel as to safety policies and procedures and follows up to ensure that hazards are eliminated.
- Prepares and coordinates the periodical performance reviews of assigned personnel.
- Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's.
The term "management" includes duties such as interviewing; training; selecting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; maintaining production; appraising employees' productivity and efficiency for purposes of recommending promotions or other changes (evaluations); handling employees' grievances and complaints; disciplining employees; planning work; providing for safety and security; and monitoring or implementing legal compliance matters.
Knowledge, Skills & Education Preferred:- Bachelor degree in Food and Beverage or related field.
- Five to ten years of experience in the restaurant industry including 3 to 5 years as a manager.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, leadership, communication, team building and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high quality guest service levels.
- Ability to work with POS systems i.e. Info genesis.
- Strong knowledge for beverage offerings.
- Proven ability in writing documentation, procedures and training employees to use new tools.
- Must have a good understanding of how the job responsibilities relate to other areas of the Hotel and Food and Beverage Operations.
- Must be able to effectively handle difficult situations and be willing to work any shift, any day and long hours when necessary.
- Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high quality guest service levels.
- Able to manage F&B costs control and coordination.
- Ability to compile and analyze pertinent data needed for reports.
- Able to work all shifts and long hours if needed.
- Must be able to maneuver throughout hotel and casino, including up and down stairs, lift and carry upwards of 50 pounds, bend, reach, twist and grip items.
