Cosentino's Sunfresh is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Deli Manager to join our team. This role requires a leader with a strong background in food services, restaurant operation, and deli management. Responsibilities
- Assist the Deli Manager in all aspects of deli operations, including food preparation, service, and presentation.
- Supervise and coach deli staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining cleanliness throughout the department.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products, utilizing planning and organizational skills.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives to promote deli products and increase revenue.
- Demonstrate leadership in maintaining a detail‑oriented approach to all tasks.
- Assist in restaurant management duties, including opening and closing procedures.
- Effectively multitask, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Minimum Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- General knowledge of restaurant operation and deli management principles.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service and sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Proven problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory role within a food service environment.
- 3-5 years of experience in a deli or similar food service setting.
